I'm so excited to share my new payment processor with you, meet Maroo! I recently switched to this new payment platform because it was specifically designed and created for wedding pros!
So, what makes Maroo so great? Let me count the ways…
1 - You can accept ACH Payments, Debit Cards, Credit Cards, and Pay Over Time. Prior to Maroo, I could only accept ACH payments through 17 Hats so adding Debit Cards has increased my client's ability to pay online!
2 - No Fees for Bank Transfers (ACH/e-checks) or Debit Card purchases. For each ACH payment, I would pay a $5.00 flat rate to Stripe. So, let's say you pay $60 a month in processing fees by simply switching to Maroo, you could save up to $720 a year!
3 - You can have your clients pay the 2.9% credit card fees automatically. If you accept credit cards, you can now have your clients pay the 2.9% processing fees OR give them the ability to pay another way. (be sure to check with your state to see if you can pass along this fee)
4 - Get Paid the NEXT business day. No more waiting 5-7 days from the other processor companies. Somehow the money magically appears in your bank account in ONE business day. It's incredible!
5 - Pay Other Vendors. Never use Venmo or write a check ever again. Pay other wedding vendors (ie. second photographers) easily with Maroo. Oh, and the best part is at the end of the year, Maroo will create your 1099's for you for FREE! It's one less thing you have to worry about during tax season and one less “fee” from your accountant. Maroo can save you even more money!
6 - It's 100% FREE! Yes, you read that correctly. You don't pay anything to use Maroo which seems totally insane but it's 100% true. It's free to sign up and use Maroo immediately.
